Us Moves

A Dialogue Between Sounds and Movements

@Catherine Mamani Valles

The Performance

The idea of Motion is fascinating, the wish to work with motion sensor technology and movement was the driving force to create this performance named "Us Moves", another reference to movements.

Among other thoughts, two main elements came out and became part of this project:

- All the sound design was originally recorded movement sounds (steps, running, clothes moving, heartbeat, skin, hair..)

- It was very important that the performance takes place in front of an audience, to create this movement of people gathering in one lace. This is a very special thing to do, especially nowadays.
